All roads led to the Yashraj studio at Andheri, last evening. Even as it poured and poured in the Maximum City, Bollywood celebs and friends of Hrithik Roshan stepped out to get a special preview of his much talked about Friday release, Super 30. The film also stars newcomer Mrunal Thakur and is directed by Vikas Bahl.
In attendance at the screening were Tiger Shroff, Disha Patani and Jacqueline Fernandez. Kriti Sanon and her younger sister, Nupur Sanon, were also seen at the screening. Casting director, Mukesh Chhabra and the much-in-love couple, Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal were also spotted.
The movie is based on the life of mathematician Anand Kumar who conducts a program ‘Super 30’ for the underprivileged kids appearing for JEE. Celebs like Gauahar Khan, Esha Deol, designer Anaita Shroff Adajania, casting director Mukesh Chhabra, director Siddharth Anand, Mrunal Thakur and the actor’s ex-wife Sussanne Khan are showering heaps of praises on the actor.

It’s not just the celebs, even the critics have good things to say about Super 30. SpotboyE.com Editor, Vickey Lalwani, rated the movie 3-and-a-half stars. He writes, “ I have always rated Hrithik as one of the finest when his role is complicated- Koi Mil Gaya 1, Guzaarish 2. Or is it the other way round? Now where do I place Super 30? 2 or 3? I am confused. The long and short of it is that Super 30 is one of the top three performances of Hrithik, till date. Imagine, he doesn't dance in the film! He makes you emotional. He makes you root for him. He makes your jaws drop at the pauses in his dialogue delivery. What else would you want?”
