Hrithik Roshan’s Super 30 passed its test with flying colours despite the significant drop post weekends. The drop on Monday was 40%, which is considered normal after the huge growth on weekends. The film has continued to make its numbers this week after the Tuesday collections were steady on 6.39 crore net. The film is already declared tax free in Bihar and the good news just keeps coming in for the star.

Reviewing the performance of the film till Day 5, Super 30 has performed quite well on the Box-Office. With the Tuesday collection of the film, the Hritik Roshan starrer is aiming a pretty good overall performance over the week. Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh shared on Instagram, “#Super30 remains in the same range on Day 5 [vis-à-vis Day 4]... Metros continue to fare well, while mass circuits/single screens are down... Fri 11.83 cr, Sat 18.19 cr, Sun 20.74 cr, Mon 6.92 cr, Tue 6.39 cr. Total: ₹ 64.07 cr. India biz.”

The performance of the film is similar to that of Ranveer Singh starrer Gully Boy if the Valentine’s Day from the film is taken out. The film has been accepted well by the core audiences at which it was targeted and hence in major cities, it is fetching good footfalls.

SpotboyE.com Editor Vickey Lalwani rated Super 30 with 3.5 stars and wrote in his review, “I have always rated Hrithik as one of the finest when his role is complicated- Koi Mil Gaya 1, Guzaarish 2. Or is it the other way round? Now, where do I place Super 30? 2 or 3? I am confused. The long and short of it is that Super 30 is one of the top three performances of Hrithik, to date. Imagine, he doesn't dance in the film! He makes you emotional. He makes you root for him. He makes your jaws drop at the pauses in his dialogue delivery. What else would you want?”

Super 30 is based on the life of a brilliant mathematician Anand Kumar who helps 30 smart, but underprivileged students to prepare for entrance exams for the Indian Institute of Technology. The title of the film is named after the educational program founded by Anand Kumar.
