Sunny Leone fans, here's good news for you. Her adult comedy Mastizaade, which was originally scheduled for a May 1 release, has finally been cleared by the Censor Board.

You may remember that producer Pritish Nandy had been running from pillar to post to ensure the movie sees the light of day.

We were the first to tell you that the Sunny-starrer, which was rejected by the Censor Board for its explicit content, was even turned down by the Tribunal (Sunny Leone’s masti film will now need court clearance, June 17).

Nandy and director Milap Zaveri had no option but to tone down the film's sex quotient and knock on the Censor Board's door again. Did it work? No way! Pahlaj Nihalani, the Chairman of the Censor Board, was still shocked by the raunchy content of the movie and refused to greenlight it (Sunny Leones masti is still gross, July 28).

So Nandy and Milap went back to the editing room and diluted the comedy as much as they could. Result? The Board gave it a nod, at last. It has been granted an 'A' certificate.

But wait - it comes with its conditions. Pahlaj and his team have suggested 22 cuts in the latest version. Only once these portions have been snipped will the movie hit the theatres.
