In the video, uploaded on IndiaTV’s YouTube channel, journalist Rajat Sharma is seen recalling an old interview of Dharmendra, where he called his eldest son Sunny a ‘sadhu.’ The actor seems quite shocked and starts blushing and laughing as the former continues speaking. Rajat quotes the veteran and states that when asked to hug Amrita Singh during the shoot of the song ‘Badal Yun Garajta Hai,’ he couldn’t do it. Talking about Gadar 2, it is a sequel to the blockbuster hit Gadar: Ek Prem Katha (2001). The partition drama followed the journey of Tara Singh (Sunny Deol) who falls in love with a Pakistani Muslim girl Sakina (Ameesha Patel). After they get married and have a kid (Utkarsh Sharma), Sakina is forced to go to her country by her father, leaving her family. The father-son duo then goes to Pakistan to rescue her. The sequel focuses more on the father-son relationship and how Tara goes to rescue his son, who is captured in Pakistan. Released on August 11th, 2023, the movie is directed and produced by Anil Sharma.
