Just a couple of days ago, actors Sunny Deol and Karisma Kapoor were booked with the charges of pulling the emergency chain of a train during one of their films shoot in Bajrang in Ajmer district. This entire legal turmoil for the actors began after in 1997, leaving them in despair. Though as per reports in News18.com, the actors were cleared of all the charges in 2009 by counsel A K Jain. However, the legal turmoil seemed unending for the duo, as the case relapsed and they were asked to appear in the court for hearing on September 24.
Now finally as per a report in ZoomTV.com , the duo can heave a sigh of relief. As judge of session court Pawan Kumar has cleared off all the charges filed against Sunny Deol and Karisma Kapoor. Reports further stated how court doesn’t have any evidence now and Railway Magistrate also initially shouldn’t have filed any charges against the duo as well. As per a complaint in the General Railway Police, this irresponsible act of the actors had caused a delay of 25 minutes in the train’ actual timings.
Sunny Deol was last seen promoting his son Karan Deol’s debut film Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas, directed and produced by him. Though the film didn’t receive a dream run at the box-office, it scored well as compared to the rest of the films at the box-office – Prassthanam and The Zoya Factor.
Karisma Kapoor too has been fulfilling her brand endorsement shoots and was last seen on the screen filling in for her sister Kareena Kapoor Khan as a judge on the dance reality show- Dance India Dance.
