Actor Suniel Shetty lately has been busy promoting his next web show ‘Hunter Tootega Nahi Todega’ and as part of promotions he visited Indian Idol 13. The actor was left mighty impressed with contestant Deboshmita’s performance and after her act, he showered heaps of praise on Deboshmita’s bond with her father. Suniel got emotional and remembered his late father Veerapa Shetty as a cleaner boy at the age of 9. The Hera Pheri actor also spoke about his bond with his daughter Athiya Shetty and said he lives only for her.
After Deboshmita’s performance, Suniel told her, “I really love seeing your bond with your father because I and Athiya also share the same bond. There is the same love and I live only for her.” He even revealed that his mother is a huge admirer of the show and considers all the contestants as part of the family. Calling Deboshmita a part of his family, he watched her performance of the song ‘Jhanjhariya’ by sitting beside her father. The performance reminded Suniel of his own bond with his father as he said, “ye relationship hamesha aisa hi rahna chahiye. Mere papa ke saath mera relationship aisa hi tha (this relationship should remain like this forever.”
The 61-year-old actor added, “I am a very proud son of my father kyunki 9 saal ki umar main, main hamesha kahta hu, cleaner boy they wo. Itni chhoti umar mein table ke charo taraf khumte they table saaf karne ke liye par unka haath nahi pahuchta tha. Mujhe hamesha har cheez mein wohi baat yaad rahti hai. Meanwhile, ‘Hunter Tootega Nahi Todega’ starred Suniel Shetty as ACP Vikram who embarks on a journey to curb Mumbai's crime world. The action thriller also stars Esha Deol and was released on miniTV on March 22.
