In a conversation with Raj Shamani, Sunidhi revealed that she does not use auto-tune in her music, a practice that sets her apart from many other singers in the industry. For those unfamiliar, auto-tune is a technology designed to automatically enhance and correct a singer's voice. Despite its prevalence, Sunidhi prefers to perfect her songs through repeated practice rather than relying on this technology. She stated, "I don't use auto-tune, though others do. If it's my work, I might sing 100 times to ensure it sounds right, but I won't rely on auto-tune." Sunidhi acknowledged that while auto-tune is widely used, its overuse leads to a homogenization of voices, which she believes is detrimental. She elaborated, "Auto-tune is an effect that makes a voice shine a little more. These days they use it everywhere. My problem with it is that when it is used on everybody's voice, all the voices sound the same. If you get three female singers for a song and use auto-tune in each of their voices, it won't be exactly the same, but there will be a similarity."

The singer also commented on how auto-tune has become a standard tool in the industry, with many singers viewing it as a necessity. "I've heard so many singers walk into the studio and ask, 'I'm going to go on the mic, but there's auto-tune, right?' It has become a basic expectation," she shared. Sunidhi Chauhan's journey in music began at the tender age of five, performing at local gatherings. She made her career debut at 13 with a song for the film Shastra in 1996. Over the years, she has become known for iconic Bollywood songs such as "Sajnaaji Vaari," "Kaisi Paheli," "Beedi," and "Dance Pe Chance," among others. Her stance on auto-tune reflects her commitment to maintaining the authenticity and uniqueness of her voice, setting an example for aspiring singers in the industry.
