Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi and Kareena Kapoor Khan's Chameli director Sudhir Mishra recently took to his Twitter handle and informed his fans and followers about having mild fever, cough and runny nose. But he subsided after consuming paracetamol. However, he also mentioned that he was feeling better in the morning but then started feeling drowsy. After consulting a doctor, he voluntarily has put himself in isolation. Seeing the tweet about his health condition, Alia Bhatt's mother Soni Razdan and sister Pooja Bhatt asked to get himself tested.

His tweet read, "I had mild fever which subsided after paracetamol, a cough and a runny nose Since this was the 2nd day running. The mornings were bad , post 10 am after breakfast was better and then then again started feeling drowsy ) I called my Doctor friend who told me to self isolate. Will do." After this post, a concerned Soni Razdan wrote, "Get tested no. Could be anything." Even Pooja Bhatt wrote a similar tweet, "Do an Antibodies test at the very least Sudhir. Please." While another filmmaker Onir sent across a recovery wish, "take care and get well soon Sudhir."

Apart from his friends and colleagues, his fans and followers also poured in speedy recovery wishes and asked him to get tested just for the sake of it. One fan wrote, “I think best to get tested and isolate meanwhile. Get well soon. Could be a seasonal flu. Test will clarify.” While another one gave him some home remedies and name of the medicines, “आदुरश 1 चमच,तुलशीपान रश 1 चमच,  हनी 1  चमच  Drink two times a day, this will help in coughing and better than antibiotic. And if fever is not in control tray dollo 650.”
