If you’ve been watching the ongoing Cricket World Cup, you couldn't have missed the ads where Shah Rukh Khan is endorsing a fashion portal.
However if a certain agency had his way, Ranbir Kapoor would have been in Shah Rukh's shoes.
The story goes that the owners of the fashion portal got in touch with a certain agency saying that they wanted King Khan to be the face of their brand.
But instead the agency threw Ranbir's name in the ring. The fashion portal was told that Ranbir was younger and would fit the brand image well.
Hell broke loose when Shah Rukh came to know about this, naturally he was not very happy with the agency's game.
Meanwhile, the fashion portal officials were also not amused by the agency's suggestion either. They wanted Shah Rukh and only Shah Rukh.
Now, who made calls to whom, were not sure, but the endorsement deal finally landed in Shah Rukh's pocket and now you can see him in almost all the ad breaks during the Cricket World Cup telecast.
Did Shah Rukh give the agency an earful? Your guess is as good as ours.
