Sooryavanshi First Poster: Akshay Kumar Makes An Action-Packed Entry In Rohit Shetty’s Singham Universe!

Meet Akshay Kumar aka ATS Chief Veer Sooryavanshi in an all new khakhee avatar. The first poster of Rohit Shetty’s next, Sooryavanshi released this morning and fans just can’t keep calm seeing Akki in uniform. For those who missed Kumar in Ranveer Singh’s Simmba, as his character (Veer Sooryavanshi) was introduced in the climax, take a look at the posters.

Akshay Kumar can be seen donning the police uniform while in some intense action sequence. One of the posters sees him running while other has Khiladi Kumar in a bullet proof vest. And guess what? The film will release on Eid 2020- a festival famous for Salman Khan film’s release.

For those who missed Akshay’s introduction scene as ATS Chief in Simmba, here’s a recap. In the short sequence in the climax of the film, Akshay's character was seen talking on the phone with Ajay Devgn aka Singham, who was also a part of Simmba.

Talking about Akshay playing a cop, well, it is not the first time that Khiladi Kumar has donned a uniform. Akshay has played a number of roles as a policeman in ‘90s. He was much appreciated for his roles as a cop in films like Mohra, Main Khiladi Tu Anari, Aan: Men At Work, Khakhee and Rowdy Rathore. It will be interesting to see Kumar wear the uniform one more time!
