Actor Sonu Sood’s humanitarian work doesn’t need any introduction; he became a savior for the migrant workers who were largely affected by the COVID-19 lockdown. The Happy New Year actor dropped a video of him walking into a bookstore, followed by mentioning buyers can now buy copies signed by him, that has commemorated all his work. Titled I am No Messiah penned by ex journalist Meena K Iyer. This book is nothing less than a milestone in the actor’s career.
Sonu in his Instagram caption, wrote, “My book - #IamNoMessiah - is out now! Signed copies of my book are available at mumbai airport with BookScetra and Replay.” In the video,this book celebrating the actor's work has been placed under the shelf of Best sellers. The actor also launched a website, Pravasi Rojgar to help the migrant workers fetch work during the COVID-19 lockdown. The actor was also honoured with SDG Special Humanitarian Action award by the United Nations Development Programme.

He said, “Lots of changes have
happened in my life in the last one year and all positive. As far as my career as an actor is concerned, no more villain’s roles. I will only be doing positive roles now and only author-backed roles. I’m being offered many good roles. I need to work out the time frame to do at least a couple of films a year.”
