Bollywood actor Sonu Sonu has indeed proved that he is not just a reel life but he is also a real-life hero. He has won zillions of hearts with his philanthropic efforts. Not to forget, during the time of the Covid 19 pandemic, Sonu was the only B-Town actor who came forward to help poor migrant workers and made relentless efforts to provide food, medicines, and other necessities things to the poor. And, the Simmba actor continues to work for the welfare of people across the country.
In a recent interview, he revealed that he asked a hospital chain to fund 50 liver transplants worth Rs. 12 crores in exchange for his promotion fees. Wow, that's incredible! Speaking with The Man magazine, Sonu mentioned how he comes across people who contribute to his humanitarian efforts. While narrating an incident, the actor said, “I will give you a small example: A gentleman called Wilson from Aster Hospitals connected with me on a recent trip to Dubai and said the group would like to collaborate with me in helping people with their medical needs. So, I said that I’ll promote the hospitals, but give me 50 liver transplants. The Dabangg actor also revealed that two transplants are actually happening for people who would never be able to afford these surgeries. Sonu said that this is the ‘magic of connecting the right dots.’
On the professional front, Sonu Sonu will next be seen in Yash Raj’s upcoming period drama Prithiviraj, which also stars Akshay Kumar and former Miss World Manushi Chhillar. Besides this, Sonu also has the Tamil movie Thamezharasan in the pipeline.
