Actor Sonu Sood’s philanthropic work is not restricted to COVID-19 patients or to those who are in a dire situation due to the pandemic. He is ensuring to help all those who are affected by the Tauktae cyclone as well. He recently took to his Twitter handle, requesting the Chief Minister of Karnataka, B.S. Yediyurappa to help those people who are stuck in the middle of the Arabian Sea due to the Tauktae cyclone that has struck some parts of the country recently. He requests him to mobilise their machinery on ‘saving these precious lives.’
His tweet read, “We need to save the lives of these people who are struck in the middle of Arabian sea due to #tauktaecyclone . CM Sir @BSYBJP request you to mobilise our machinery on saving these precious lives. @indiannavy #TauktaeCyclone” Before his tweet was shared, CM Yediyurappa also shared a tweet regarding the same, saying, “We are closely monitoring the cyclone situation in coastal areas. I am in contact with District in-charge ministers and DCs of the affected districts to ensure rescue and relief operations. Officials have been instructed to take all possible precautions & safety measures.”
Meanwhile, Sonu Sood is being praised by many for his selfless acts during the fragile time but there are some who are trolling and criticising him. Speaking of which, in an interview with SpotboyE.com, Sonu said that he is unfazed about the trolls and doesn’t want to waste his precious time on them.

“Such people will always be there in every walk of life. They can’t bear to see me doing what we all need to do during these times of crisis. ‘How can he be doing this without an agenda? Zaroor koi daal mein kala hoga. Aur agar nahin hoga toh bana dete hain (it’s not necessary to have a hidden agenda, and if there isn’t, they make up one).” ALSO READ: Sonu Sood Expresses Grief Over 30-Year-Old Girl's Demise Whose Video Listening To 'Love You Zindagi' While Battling COVID-19 In Hospital Had Gone Viral
