In the last couple of months actor, Sonu Sood was almost termed as an almighty by migrant workers whom he helped reach their destination amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. However, Sonu’s numerous good deeds were trolled on the social media platforms by targeting him, terming all these activities being fake and the actor being termed as the biggest scam of 2020. Trollers also said that people who claim to have received help from the actor being fake and actor using pictures from the deactivated accounts. However, the actor has remained unfazed by this trolling and has decided to ignore them.
The actor in conversation with Hindustan Times said, “These are a handful of people, and they suddenly rise from nowhere on social media. They don’t actually exist in reality. I didn’t bother to see what they’ve written, some friends told me. Who has the time to read? I’ve got lots of things to do for people.” In fact, when these trollers targeted the students who were flown from the Philippines by the actor, claiming it to be fake, as soon as the students shared the flight details, these trolls vanished, shared the actor.
The actor states this trolling being a paid activity with only 1-2 people operating the whole circuit of 100-200 social media accounts. Taking a jibe at these trollers he said, “If these trolls start counting the number of people I’ve connected with, unke bachhe tab tak badhe ho jaayenge. (by the time they finish counting, their kids would get old).”
The actor shared helping 7,03,200 people and still continuing to help more with each passing second. Also smashing the reports about deactivated social media accounts, he said, “Just think... if someone had shared their Aadhaar card, phone number, and after I’ve helped them, they delete it. Why would they want their details to remain there? People who don’t sometimes have fees to pay, these trolls would start telling them, ‘Paise nahi hain, apne paise bharo, Sonu Sood ko aur kaam hai’, trolls start calling them on their phone numbers, so they delete it. But I still challenge every troll in the country. I can send them tweets, the deleted tweets don’t get removed from my account. I can show." ALSO READ:
