Bollywood actor Sonu Sood has become a messiah for many across the country. The actor has been helping many since the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak. He has left no stone unturned when it comes to extending help and doing the best he can for the needy. Sood’s humanitarian efforts amidst the COVID-19 pandemic crisis got many expressing their desire to see him running for the position of the Prime Minister of India, in the next general election. Finally, the actor breaks his silence and reacts to the idea.

On Tuesday, Sonu Sood was seen distributing summer drinks to the paparazzi stationed outside his residence. At that moment, when someone asked him to react to the news of people wishing to see him as the PM of the country, the actor reacted and expressed his thoughts on the same. He said, “Hum aam insaan ache hai bhai, aam insaan better hai. Bhai log khade hai na humare, kya karenge elections mein khade ho ke? Wo apna kaam nahi hai na.”

Sood said he is doing fine as a common man and expressed that he is not interested in running for PM. The actor further went on to mention that his brothers are into politics. He then asked what will he get by fighting the elections. Sonu Sood mentioned that he is not interested and wants to continue helping the needy like a common man.

Meanwhile, Vir Das had taken to his Twitter handle to share his thoughts. The comedian wrote, “dial Sonu Sood” when a Twitter user asked him to run for the PM. Rakhi Sawant also endorsed the same idea recently during a conversation with the paparazzi.
