Since March 2020 post the outbreak of Coronavirus, actor Sonu Sood has been doing his philanthropic work and since then, he has not stopped a moment to extend help to people who are suffering. Similarly, with the second strain of the pandemic, he is going out of his way to ensure the human race’s safety. However, this time around, Sood feels heartbroken as he couldn’t save a life even after providing the affected patient with a hospital bed. He says how life is so unfair and his heart breaks to hear people pleading.
Taking it to his Twitter handle, he wrote, “I got him a bed last night at 1 am in Ghaziabad. But just got to know that we lost him. We tried our best, sometimes life is so unfair. My heart breaks listening to those pleading voices of the families. Today is a new beginning, lots of lives out there need to be saved” quoting a tweet where a user urgently asked for an ICU with a ventilator in and around NCR for a 61-year-old. Nevertheless, a few minutes back, he shared another tweet saying how China has blocked their consignments to obtain hundreds of oxygen concentrators to India.
He wrote, “We are trying to get hundreds of oxygen concentrators to India. It's sad to say that China has blocked lots of our consignments and here in India we are losing lives every minute. I request @China_Amb_India @MFA_China to help us get our consignments cleared so we can save lives.”
