After a series of stars sharing being positive for COVID-19, Alia Bhatt was the recent one to be gripped by the Novel Coronavirus. The actress informed her fans about it by penning down a post on her social media account. Practicing self isolation by remaining home quarantined, the actress’ mother Soni Razdan has shared how Alia is taking care of herself. Also the senior actress shared that she doesn’t call her daughter too many times in a day in order to keep her stress free.
In conversation with Bombay Times, Soni also shared messaging Alia to suggest to her what she should eat that is easy on her palate. She said, “I am in touch with her, it’s just that I try not to call her too many times. In the last few days, I have called her in the morning to check on her. I don’t want to burden her with constant calls, because if I keep doing that, it will stress her out. I sent her messages suggesting what she should eat, which is simple and light food. So, she is sorted now as far as her food is concerned.”
She also shared the actress taking COVID-19 test on a regular basis, ever since she began shooting, “Since Alia has been shooting, she has been taking COVID tests regularly. She has been extremely cautious, so when it happened, it was detected immediately,” said Soni.
The senior actress also shared her daughters being supportive of her as she too began shooting for her projects amidst the pandemic from October 2020. She says, “I started shooting last October. That was the period when cases were high, too, and it felt like quite a risk to venture out. I would step out and shoot with my heart in my mouth, literally! Both my daughters, Alia and Shaheen, were very supportive through that phase. They said if this is what you need to do, then do it, but be as careful as possible. So, I would take all the precautions, and luckily, the set was restricted to only limited people and there were no cases on the set till we finished the shoot.” ALSO READ: Gangubai Kathiawadi: Sanjay Leela Bhansali Has Only One More Day To Shoot With Alia Bhatt Who Recently Tested Positive For COVID-19
Speaking about rising cases in Maharashtra, she shared that she doesn’t feel like stepping out of her home. She also adds, “It’s the need of the hour to be extra careful as the virus seems to be spreading like wildfire. I don’t feel like leaving the house. I think this happened because people became a little relaxed, they felt the COVID-19 fatigue, so while some wore masks, some didn’t, and now, we’re seeing the effects.” ALSO READ: After Alia Bhatt Tests Positive For Coronavirus, Beau Ranbir Kapoor's Sister Riddhima Shares A Happy Throwback Pic With Alia, Shaheen Bhatt And Neetu Kapoor- TAKE A LOOK
