Sonam Kapoor and
Anand Ahuja are all set to tie the knot in sometime. Yesterday, the couple had
organized a Mehendi night for family and friends at their flat in Signature
Island, BKC.
While we got you
all the candid videos and photos from the bash, here's a li'l dope from the
Kaleera ritual, which took place during the ceremony. For those unaware, it is
a Punjabi ritual where the bride-to-be shakes the Kaleeras tied to her hand on
the heads of unmarried girls, thereby trying to drop it on a few of them.
Whoever's head the Kaleera falls on, is said to get married soon.
In Sonam's case,
the Kaleera ritual was a lot of fun, while we told you how relieved Janhvi was
when it didn't fall on her, guess what, finally it dropped on Boney Kapoor's
elder daughter, Anshula.
She shared the
news on her Instagram story, where she mentions that no matter how tight she
tried to tie the Kaleeras, it finally fell on her.
Talking about the
wedding today, well, the D DAY is here! Bride and Groom have reached Rockdale
at Bandra, which is Sonam's aunt's bungalow for the wedding. And after Sonam-Anand take
the wedding vows, the day will end with a fancy party at The Leela, Mumbai.
This bash will commence at 8 pm.
