Sonam Kapoor’s husband Anand Ahuja recently got into a Twitter spat with US-based shipping company MyUs over poor customer service. The International shipping company outed Anand, for using ‘doctored invoices’ in order to avoid paying taxes and custom duties. While replying to Ahuja’s complaint on Twitter, MyUS mentioned that the problem was not with their services but with the documents Sonam’s husband had provided.

On January 27, Anand Ahuja on his Twitter handle tweeted about the bad customer service he encountered with MyUs as his shipment got delayed. In a series of tweets, both Anand and the company got into a heated Twitter spat. Reverting back to Anand’s complaint, international shipping company MyUs wrote, “This is not a matter of customer service quality, new policies, or holding items improperly as was tweeted. Mr. Ahuja misrepresented the price he paid for sneakers purchased on eBay which would result in him paying less duties and taxes.”ALSO READ: Sonam Kapoor On Sharing Screen Space With Hubby Anand Ahuja, “He Is Happy Selling Sneakers And Clothes”

For the unversed, it all started when Anand Ahuja tweeted about the company. He wrote, "Does anyone know someone at MyUS – I have had HORRIBLE experience recently. They are holding items improperly, rejecting formal paperwork & refusing to acknowledge any reasoning.”

The company stated that the voices attached had 90% of the value less mentioned as compared to what Anand has paid for the goods. After the tweets went viral, Anand took to Twitter again and alleged that the company refused to validate the PDF receipts and bank statements for the same. He also told the company to watch out for their baseless slandering. Well, that was intense.

Notably, Sonam Kapoor too came out in support of her husband Anand Ahuja and wrote, “Terrible customer service is shameful.”
