The actress welcomed her first child, a boy Vayu with her husband Anand Ahuja on August 20, 2022, and post-embracing motherhood she put on some weight. Sonam’s fitness trainer Radhika Karle posted a picture of the actress and revealed she spent her Sunday morning doing pilates. Stay posted for information.” In the video, Sonam was seen sweating out while doing pilates efficiently. The 37-year-old actress looked fit in a black bralette with a shrug, jogger pants, and shoes. In an earlier interview with Vogue India, the Neerja actor opened up about embracing motherhood and called the decision of having a child “selfish.” Sonam was quoted as saying, “Priorities do change and I think that the child will become mine. The truth of the matter is that they didn’t choose to come into this world. You decided to bring them here, so it’s a very selfish decision.”
Sonam and Anand, who got married in 2018, shared a joint statement announcing the arrival of their baby boy and said they welcome their "beautiful son with bowed heads and open hearts." The couple added although it’s only the beginning, they know their lives are forever changed now.
