Over the past few days, rumours have been doing the rounds about Kareena Kapoor opting out of Rhea Kapoor’s Veere Di Wedding. It was being said that Bebo has decided against acting in the movie because of her pregnancy.

Must say, the Kapoor girls -- Sonam and Rhea -- are extremely miffed with the buzz. Yesterday, SpotboyE.com told you how Rhea slammed the rumours (Rhea: Kareena is very much doing my film, August 23)

And now, it’s sister Sonam’s turn to lash out against those who floated the news in the industry.

Sonam was present at the IMC Women Entrepreneur Exhibition last evening. When questioned about Kareena leaving Veere Di Wedding, Sonam lost her cool and sternly replied, “Honestly, it’s a very malicious gossip. Yes, Kareena will shoot major portions of the film post her delivery in April, but certain portions will be shot right now. So certainly this is false news, irresponsible journalism and highly unexpected.”

Talking to SpotboyE.com, Rhea had said, "This rumour needs to stop as it is simply preposterous. Kareena is not only shooting with us in October but also doing a photo-shoot for the film. She is extremely excited about the film and has not told me anything about wanting to opt out from it."

Added Rhea, "We were supposed to start a schedule sometime back, but like every film there is a minor delay in Verre De wedding.  It is stupid to blame a pregnant woman for that. After her first stint in October, we will shoot with Kareena in Thailand sometime in March."

Veere De wedding also stars Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania. The female buddy film needs two fresh faces for the male leads, which are yet to be cast.
