Bollywood’s fashionista Sonam Kapoor is known to be vocal about her opinions about topics that matter. Just like she is unafraid to slam trolls and stand by the truth on several occasions, the Veere Di Wedding actress also whole heartedly appreciates people when their good deeds benefit someone. This time around, Sonam could be seen lauding the move of a food delivery app for being considerate towards their female employees, in her recent Instagram stories.
The food delivery app, Zomato has announced the introduction of leaves for their female employees during their menstrual cycle. During the menstrual cycle many women go through severe pains and cramps, which makes them take leave for a day or two, hence this move of the food delivery is indeed worth appreciation. Sharing an Instagram post speaking about the same, Sonam wrote in her Instagram story, 'Better Late Than Never’. Chief Executive of this food delivery app, Deepinder Goyal informed his employees about it on Saturday via a formal mail.
The female employees are eligible to avail upto 10 days leaves per year as per this announcement. Check out Sonam Kapoor’s Instagram post below-
