When we sat down for a chat with Sonam Kapoor during the promotions of her film, The Zoya Factor, the pretty actress revealed to us about her fixation with people from down South. “I make sure I have a lot of South Indians in my films’ crew or cast, that’s my superstition. Someone told me if I work with people from dakshin, it will always work,” Sonam told us. Watch the video (04:26-04:53) below:
Since Sonam played a lucky mascot for the Indian team in her film, we asked her if she really believes in such things and the actress had replied, “I think destiny is very relevant, obviously you know everybody has something written for them. But at the same time, I think without effort and without doing your best, nothing can happen." Sonam also spoke about how Anushka Sharma was mercilessly trolled at a time when Virat’s performance was not up to the mark. The actress had said, "That's just cruel and unnecessary.” She had also added that it totally unethical to hold someone responsible for someone else’s performance.
Coming to Sonam’s fixation with South Indian, next time you spot anyone from down south in Mrs Ahuja’s film’s team, you would know the real reason for it.
