Vishal Dadlani has been quite active on social media and often takes to his account to share his viewpoints on issues related to the country. Recently, Dadlani took to his social media to talk about the to and fro happening about the formation of the government in Maharashtra. While the composer shared his viewpoint on the issue, singer Sona Mohapatra once again took a jibe at him for not speaking up against the Indian Idol 11 Judge and #MeToo accused Anu Malik.  

Recently Dadlani took to his Twitter to speak on the problems the people of Maharashtra and Mumbai have been facing due to the happening about the formation of the government. The composer tweeted, “You know what's incredible? 99% of Mumbai couldn't care less about whatever is going on with the formation/non-formation of the Maharashtra government. What amazing apathy! Such a disconnect with our own lives for the next 5 years! Wow! #SpiritOfMumbai.”  Expressing his fury on the issue, Vishal mentioned how the people of Mumbai would care less and explained the apathy of the people for the upcoming 5 years. Replying to Vishal Dadlani’s tweet, singer Sona Mohapatra called the composer a ‘Hypocrite’ and lashed out at him once again for not speaking up against the Indian Idol 11 Judge and #MeToo accused Anu Malik. She tweeted, “U know what’s even more incredible? That U continue to give gyaan about ‘apathy’ to people who do not have 1 ounce of your money, power! These 99% struggle every day. U don’t & yet choose to SAY & DO nothing about multiple accused #MeToo co-judge Anu M on #IndianIdol ?Hypocrite much?”


Meanwhile, a few days back, Sona Mohapatra also lashed out at Dadlani on his Twitter for speaking up against #MeToo accused Anu Malik and maintaining his silence on the topic and told him it's his time to talk. 







In October 2018, in the wake of the #MeToo movement in India, Anu Malik was accused of sexual harassment by multiple women in separate claims.
