Director of Salman Khan's film Dabangg, Abhinav Kashyap, recently took to his Facebook account to pen a long note accusing the Khan brothers of sabotaging his career as a filmmaker. He penned his story as the debate over nepotism in Bollywood and Sushant Singh Rajput's death caught fire on social media. In a very length post, he shared how of Salman Khan and brothers - Sohail and Arbaaz - could not let him have a successful career. Now, if reports are anything to go by, Sohail Khan has filed a defamation case against Abhinav.
A report in Mumbai Mirror suggests that Sohail Khan has taken a legal route and filed a defamation suit against Abhinav Kashyap in court. Details of this defamation case are yet to be acquired. Earlier, it was Salman Khan's father Salim Khan who had reacted to the accusations thrown by the filmmaker. To TOI, the veteran writer had said, "Ji haan, humne hi sab kharab kiya hai na. Aap pehle jaake unki filmey dekhiye phir hum baat karte hai. Unhone mera naam daala hai na unki statement mein. Unhe shayad mere pitaji ka naam nahi pata. Unka naam hai Rashid Khan. Unhe hamaare dadaon aur pardadaon ke naam bhi daalne dijiye. Let him do whatever he wants, I am not going to waste time in reacting to what he says."
Further, in an interview with Hindustan Times, Arbaaz Khan had confirmed that they have already taken a legal action against Abhinav. He mentioned that after Dabangg, they had parted ways on professional terms, so he does not know from where all these accusations are coming from.
