Akshay Kumar-Kriti Sanon starrer Singh Is Bling has not gone on floors on its appointed date January 19.

The film's release date had been earlier postponed from July to October. It now remains to be seen if the producers Ashwini Yardi and Jayantilal Gada and the director Prabhu Dheva succeed to race against time.

SpotboyE.com has it that Prabhu Dheva is not ready to roll. A source says, "A few changes are being made in the script."

Last heard, even Vivek Oberoi who has been asked to play the baddie in the film has asked for few changes in the script.

This is Dheva's second hiccup in Singh is Bling. Not so long ago, SpotboyE.com brought you the story that Dheva found himself in a long discussion with Jayantilal Gada and Akshay who are co-producing the film in question (December 12). The duo told him in no uncertain terms that he should complete the shooting in 75-80 days, while Dheva argued that he would need no less than 120. The film's co-producers felt that if they pull off the film in 75 shooting days (which is the normal period taken to shoot most films), they would save at least Rs 9 crore (A single day shoot of Singh is Bling has been evaluated to cost Rs 20 lakh).

The delay is definitely not music to Akshay and Kriti's ears. Adds the source, "Kriti has undertaken many lessons for her role including salsa and karate. Above all, Akshay is a very busy actor."
