Time and again, Adnan Sami has often found himself being questioned on his loyalty towards the motherland, despite acquiring Indian citizenship long back. Well, the same thing happened again when a Twitterati called out on Adnan Sami and questioned him on his loyalty, however, the singer, taking no-nonsense, hits back at him! Earlier, Adnan Sami has questioned Muslim clerics’ stand that music is ‘haram’ in Islam. The singer sparked a debate on Twitter by posting a video which showed Saudi royals and American President Donald Trump taking part in a traditional dance performance.

Well, this all started on Thursday, 15 August. Apart from Independence Day, it also happened to be Adnan’s birthday. The singer was sharing wishes and greetings for the nation as well as himself. He tweeted, "Sare jahan se accha Hindositan hamara Hum bulbule hain iski Ye gulsitan hamara...” - Muhammad Iqbal Born: 9th Nov 1877 in India, Died: April 21 1938 in India. #JaiHind #IndependenceDayIndia #स्वतंत्रतादिवस #IndependenceDay2019 #HappyIndependenceDay."

A troll replied to the tweet with, “whr ur father was born & died??” However, taking no nonsense from them, Adnan elegantly responded, “My father was born in 1942 in India & died in 2009 in India!!! Next!" In another tweet, he said, "I’m not disputing anything. I’m just saying that legally he was born & died an Indian- Period! No one can deny that!! Can you?!"

A few months ago, after Amitabh Bachchan, the Twitter account of Adnan Sami was also hacked. The hacker changed the cover photo, profile picture and bio of the Twitter account. Supposedly, in both cases, the tweets were pro-Pakistan, and the profile picture of the account was changed to that of the Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan. The account was also flooded with pro-Pakistan tweets, just like that of Big B.
