Screenwriter and editor Apurva Asrani and actress Kangana Ranaut had a fallout during the release of her movie, Simran. The two did wash their dirty linen in public when the writer slamming her in a series of tweets for taking credit for his story. However, the writer expressed his displeasure over BMC demolishing Kangana’s office located in Bandra today. The writer expressed in his tweet that this act of demolition is totally brutal and bitter during the ongoing COVID-19 lockdown. Instead, he suggested other ways to showcase disagreement with the actress' PoK statement over Mumbai.
He feels if one disagrees with her words, they should counter it with words and not with such harsh acts. Also mentioning the political party Shiv Sena being hell-bent to teach her lesson in the most disrespectful way, ultimately proving her right. His tweet read, “Sorry, but this is vindictive, esp under Lockdown. If you disagree with Kangana Ranaut's statements, please counter her with words. As someone who loves Bombay & who thought her likening it to POK was in poor taste, it seems like the Shiv Sena is hell-bent on proving her right.”
His tweet also carried video of a bulldozer demolishing the actress’ office; read his Tweet and watch the video below-
