It has been a tough morning for the showbiz as the industry woke up to the shocking news of the sad demise of actor Sidharth Shukla. The 40-year-old actor passed away due to a cardiac arrest this morning.
Sidharth has had a successful career in TV with shows like Balika Vadhu and Dil Se Dil Tak to his credit. He even emerged as the winner of reality shows like Bigg Boss 13 and Khatron Ke Khiladi. In 2014, the actor made his big screen debut with Karan Johar’s Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, which was directed by Shashank Khaitan and featured Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt.
Varun took to his twitter to remember his co-star, saying, “Rip brother,” with a broken heart emoji. He coupled that with a picture of him with Sidharth and Alia from during the promotion of Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania.
On Instagram, Varun wrote, "Rip brother u are loved by so many and u touched so many with ur kind heart and beautiful personality. Today heaven has gained a star and we have lost one. My deepest condolences to the family and loved ones."

He said, “The heart is broken and the shock is unbearable, you just started doing so well for yourself my friend, you had so much more to give rest in peace.” Another co-star Gaurav Pandey resonated the feeling saying, “Can’t Believe It. It Wasn’t Your Time Bro.”
Not just them, but the rest of Bollywood also mourned the loss that the industry has suffered. Ajay Devgn took to Twitter to share the grief, saying, “Life & death are both baffling. But when someone as young as #SidharthShukla passes away with suddenness, one is very sad... Condolences to his family. RIP Sidharth.”
Akshay Kumar also took to his Twitter handle to mourn the big loss. “Really sad to know about the passing away of #SidharthShukla. I didn’t know him personally but it’s heartbreaking to know of such a talented life gone so soon. Om Shanti,” he said.
Madhuri Dixit recently interacted with Sidharth on the sets of Dance Deewane 3, where they recreated a scene from Dil Toh Pagal Hai, and even she is baffled with the news. “It's just unbelievable and shocking. You will always be remembered @sidharth_shukla. May your soul rest in peace. My heartfelt condolences to the family,” she said on Twitter.
