The movie has been receiving an amazing response from the audiences and critics alike. Sidharth as Captain Vikram Batra has nailed it and how! He has delivered a phenomenal performance in the movie. We got a chance to interact with the actor and he shared some really interesting anecdotes about shooting for the film.

When we asked the actor about the monologue scene and how he was successfully able to deliver it, Sidharth called it his most "favourite scene" from the film as it really shows Captain Vikram Batra's maturity.

"We were in Kargil for about 45 plus days. We shot that portion in the earlier half, around the 10th day but my prep for that scene started months before in my house in Mumbai with my director and my writer," said Sidharth. The actor added that he asked a lot of questions while preparing for the scene. He further went on to reveal that he shot the scene in Kargil during a very cold morning. "The director was like 'we are set and we're gonna take it from this direction, this many angles..,'" said Sid. The actor revealed that every take helped him understand what needs to be done to perfect the scene. "I wanted to live that leadership quality in him that now having that one more star on his shoulder gives him that sense of confidence that he wants to win the war and he did believe in it," said Sidharth.

The war film is based on the life of Captain Vikram Batra, who sacrificed his life for the country during the Kapil War in 1999. Sidharth has portrayed two very distinct looks to showcase the younger phase of Captain Vikram Batra and his Army phase. Speaking to SpotboyE, Sidharth also said that it was surreal to be a part of the film. "It's been a wonderful journey; a very far-fleged one," said the actor.
