Though the situation is getting better day by day, there are still people who are testing positive for COVID-19. And due to that, many are relying on vaccines as that's the only solution to break the dangerous link. Speaking of that, as per the latest report, Film and TV Producers Guild led by Siddharth Roy Kapur and Manish Goswami will hand over 5, 000 Covishield vaccines to the FWICE (Federation of Western India Cine Employees) whereby the FWICE can inoculate their members who can also get their spouse to avail the dose.

The drive will be conducted next week. Speaking to ETimes, Goswami confirmed the news and said, 'Siddharth, I and our team are leaving no stone unturned. Not just an FWICE member but even his/her spouse can utilise the vaccines we shall dispatch to them. If more members in a family get vaccinated, only then the dangerous link will be broken.'

Adding to that, Goswami said, 'We need the full working force of the entertainment industry to get vaccinated ASAP. Only then, the industry will be put back on wheels. We are going all out to ensure that we cover maximum people in the shortest time possible in the days ahead.' Given that the country has suffered so much during the second wave of Coronavirus, a source adds, 'every film unit is now wanting each and every person associated with the set to be vaccinated.'

FWICE President BN Tiwari also confirmed the news. 'We plan to hold a 5-day camp, wherein everyone we shall target 1000 doses to be administered,' said Tiwari.
