It was a fun day on The Drama Company as Team Haseena Parkar appeared in its latest episode. With Mithun Chakraborty sharing some interesting childhood stories about the real life brother-sister duo, Shraddha & Siddhanth Kapoor, there was also some live action which happened on-the-sets.

The episode was special not only because it was Shraddha and Siddhanth’s first appearance together on a reality show, but also because the siblings celebrated Raksha Bandhan here.

Later, Krushna Abhishek and Sudesh Lehri were also forced to get rakhi tied by Shraddha. Now, that’s understandable- after all, which man would want a pretty girl like Shraddha to tie them a rakhi?

Shraddha and Siddhanth are working together in Apoorva Lakhia’s Haseena Parkar where the former is playing the role of Dawood’s sister and latter is playing the much controversial underworld don.

The makers released the trailer of the film, a few days back, and it caught everyone’s attention. Shraddha, as Haseena Parkar, looks promising, so does Siddhanth as Dawood. Both have used prosthetics to achieve their respective looks. In fact, Shraddha had to go through gruesome three-and-a-half hours on the make-up chair to get her look right.

The film is primarily about Dawood Ibrahim’s sister Haseena, who took over her brother’s criminal network in Mumbai.

Haseena Parkar's life changed after her husband was shot dead by gangster-turned-politician Arun Gawli's gang in 1991. The incident prompted her to become a feared gangster. 88 cases were registered against her but she appeared in court only once, such was the clout of the woman who was simply known as ‘Aapa’ by her followers.
