Humara Movie has come up with an anthology of 7 short films titled Shor Se Shuruaat. With directors like Homi Adajania, Shyam Benegal, Sriram Raghavan, Mira Nair, Imtiaz Ali, Zoya Akhtar and Nagesh Kukunoor mentoring young filmmakers, this is going to be a big step in bringing new age content to the audiences.

Today we got in touch with Nagesh Kukunoor's mentee, Supriya Sharma, who has directed the short Dhvani. She gave us an insight into what the story of the film is all about.

Dhvani is a story of the last few days of a man's life who has been living in solitary confinement, and is all set to be hanged till death. Does he regret having committed the crime now? Does he have any last wishes from life? Well, only watching the film would answer all these questions.

The subtlety of human emotions portrayed in Nagesh Kukunoor's films have been well retained by Supriya in Dhvani.

Shor Se Shuruaat will also feature other short films like Azaad, Aamer, Mia I'm, Decibel, Hell O Hello and Yellow Tin Can Telephone - all made under the common theme of 'Shor' (Noise).

Shor Se Shuruaat releases worldwide December 16.
