Coronavirus cases are increasing day by day and it has majorly affected the entertainment industry. The shoot of many films has come to a halt including Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer 'Brahmastra' to Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone starrer 'Pathan'. As revealed by FWICE general secretary Ashok Dubey, the set construction of Pathan and Brahmastra have been kept on hold.
Talking about the same, Ashok Dubey told TOI, "There were three big sets that were under construction including Pathan which was being built on the helipad of Film city that involved the shooting of John Abraham and Shah Rukh Khan. Then there was the Brahmastra set and Vikram Motwane's Andolon Pictures' set that was also under construction."
He further added, "Each set had about 250 members from the setting department working every day and the work was supposed to go on for a month but this new lockdown will hit their livelihood."
Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer Brahmastra is one of the most-awaited films. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, it also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy. This is the first time lovebirds Alia and Ranbir are sharing screen space together on the big screen. For the uninitiated, Nagarjuna Akkineni is also a part of the film. Fans are eagerly looking forward to the film. On the other hand, Shah Rukh Khan's Pathan also stars John Abraham and Deepika Padukone. The movie is directed by Siddharth Anand and is slated to release in 2022.
