Pink girl Taapsee Pannu has revealed that she has hit with a coconut while shooting her first film, the Telugu hit Jhummandi Naadam.

The shocking part is that the film’s director K Raghavendra Rao was the one who orchestrated the episode. The filmmaker apparently thought of it as “sensous”.
Taapsee opened up about the disturbing incident during a recent event and said: “The director who launched me is known to show the sensuality of a woman by showing the midriff and throwing fruits and flowers on the midriff. My turn came, and maybe because I was not prepared as I told you, they threw a coconut at me! I don't know what's sensuous about a coconut hitting my midriff."

Taapsee was then asked about her experience working in Southern cinema and she complained about being pigeon-holed into glamorous roles.
"In the South, they think I can only pull off glamorous roles. When they saw Pink and Naam Shabana, they were like, oh, she can act," said Taapsee.
Interestingly, Taapsee will have a glamorous role in her upcoming Bollywood film Judwaa 2 where she is paired opposite Varun Dhawan.
In the sequel to the ‘90s hit starring Salman Khan, Varun will have a double role with Taapsee and Jacqueline Fernandez as his leading ladies.
Taapsee and Jacqueline recently grabbed headlines, thanks to their reported squabbles on the sets of Judwaa 2 and a video where Jacqueline called her names.
