Former Bollywood star Somy Ali raised eyebrows as she once again targeted Salman Khan on Friday via a now-deleted Instagram post. Ali, who dated Khan in the past, shared a poster of the superstar’s film and urged people to ‘stop worshipping him’. Describing him as a ‘women beater’ and a 'sadistic sick'; the 46-year-old actress claimed that apart from her, there have been several other women who have allegedly suffered at the hands of the Dabangg Khan. However, she did not mention Salman's name. And in a rather shocking turn of events, Somy Ali deleted her post for unknown reason.
Taking to Instagram, Somy shared a poster of 'Maine Pyar Kiya' which also features actress Bhagyashree. Along with the poster, her caption read: "A women beater, and not just me, but many. Stop worshiping him please. He’s a sadistic sick *#uk. You have no idea."
The former star was reportedly a huge Salman Khan fan in the 90s when 'Maine Pyar Kiya' was released. They were also involved in a romantic relationship.
The recent shocking claims come months after Somy had previously made a stirring statement on exposing 'The Harvey Weinstein of Bollywood' by citing an example of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who had once filed an FIR against domestic violence while she was in a relationship.
Earlier, she had called Salman the 'Harvey Weinstein of Bollywood'. Taking to social media, Somy had written, "The Harvey Weinstein of Bollywood! You will be exposed. The women you abused wil come out one day and share their truth. Just like @aishwaryaraibachchan_arb”.
She used a silhouette image that shows a couple is a still from a romantic song Aate Jaate Haste Gaate from Maine Pyar Kiya featuring Salman Khan and Bhagyashree.
