Aamir Khan’s upcoming highly-awaited film ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ recently found a spot in top trends after several netizens launched a hate campaign against the film. Hashtag #BoycottLaalSinghChaddha was trending on Twitter with a certain section of people asking everyone to boycott the Advait Chandan directorial. Now, B-town’s queen Kangana Ranaut has reacted to it and she has blamed Aamir for launching this initiative against his own film. She also called the actor ‘mastermind.’
On Wednesday, Ranaut took to her Instagram stories and penned a note where she stated that the negativity around Laal Singh Chadda is curated by mastermind Aamir. Her post read, “I think all the negativity around upcoming release Laal Singh Chadda is skill fully curated by mastermind Aamir Khan Ji himself, this year no Hindi films have worked (barring one exception of a comedy sequel) only south films deeply rooted in Indian culture or with local flavour have worked, a Hollywood remake would have not worked anyway.” She added, “But now they will call India intolerant, Hindi films need to understand the pulse of audiences it's not about being a Hindu or Muslim. Even after Aamir Khan ji made Hinduphobic PK or called India intolerant he gave biggest hits of his life please stop making it about religion or ideology, it takes away from their bad acting and bad films.”
A few days ago, Aamir Khan broke his silence on this trend and said that he really loves his country and that it’s rather unfortunate if some people feel that way. The film's leading lady Kareena while reacting to the same told India Today that everyone has an opinion. So now, if that is going to be there, then you have to learn to ignore certain things. Bebo added that "if a film is good, then the response will be good and it will surpass anything."
