Actor Kajal Aggarwal welcomed her first child, a baby boy named Neil, back in April last year. Now, in a recent interaction, she got candid about getting back to work and fulfilling her professional commitments. However, she was even tormented by her mother’s guilt about leaving her baby at home. She also recalled being body-shamed by people when she was pregnant.
"It breaks my heart every morning when I have to leave my little baby and go to work but of course, I love what I do and I am sure my baby will grow up understanding the importance of work," she told News18.
The actor also asserted that she had to be back out of one movie when she found out that she was pregnant. While she did a lot of work during her pregnancy, she felt pangs of insecurity thinking that her main job is to be in front of a camera.
Kajal Aggarwal got back to work two months postpartum and even jumped into horse riding, doing martial arts and action scenes on a harness.
To everyone’s surprise, Kajal even shared that she was accompanied by her baby to every shoot.
Aggrawal even spoke about how people used to tell her that she won’t be able to manage her work and personal life after her pregnancy. Kajal said, "People called me fat when I was pregnant. I mean obviously, I had a full-fledged baby within me. But that’s how they (trolls) are. So the best thing to do is ignore it."
Meanwhile, on the professional front, Kajal was last seen playing a dual role in the horror comedy Ghosty. She is currently filming for Kamal Haasan's Indian 2 where she will reportedly be seen playing an elderly woman.
