Film producer Nitin Manmohan was rushed to the hospital on Saturday evening after he suffered from a massive heart attack. According to PTI, he was admitted in Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Navi Mumbai after facing cardiac issues.
A hospital official told the publication that he is currently in Intensive Care Unit (ICU). As reported by ETimes, the filmmaker is responding to the treatment but is still in danger. According to the source, quoted by the entertainment portal, “His vital parameters are stable at the moment but he was put on a ventilator, and continues to remain on it until now.”
The source further added that a team of doctors are attending him and the best treatment is being given to him. ETimes has also reported that Sanjay Dutt’s former secretary Kaleem, who is very close to the producer, is constantly by his family’s side.
The source said, “He hasn't opened his eyes yet. The next 48 hours are crucial, doctors say. Nitin ji's daughter Prachi was also there and has stayed put with her father since yesterday. His son Soham stays in Dubai and he flew into Mumbai last night. All family members of Nitin Manmohan are worried.”
For the unversed, Nitin Manmohan is the son of veteran actor and yesteryear’s famous villain Manmohan. Not only did he produce movies like Bol Radha Bol, Dus, Chal Mere Bhai, Laadla, Yamla Pagla Deewana, Ready and Rudraksh among many others, he also played the role of freedom fighter Chandrasekhar Azad in Doordarshan’s TV serial Bharat Ke Shaheed. He also made a mark in the industry as an actor doing a television serial alongside Manoj Kumar’s cousin Manish Goswami.
