The war of words between Kangana Ranaut and Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut grabbed a lot of attention. It was after Kangana Ranaut called out Mumbai Police and stated that she feels unsafe in Mumbai post the demise of Sushant Singh Rajput, Sanjay Raut reportedly stated that she must refrain from coming to the city if that's the case. However, later Kangana Ranaut retaliated to the statements of the political leader comparing Mumbai to Pakistan occupied Kashmir. Following this, BMC officials today demolished certain areas of her office in Mumbai calling it 'illegal construction'. While Kangana is hitting back at BMC through social media, Sanjay Raut has come out and stated that 'Matter is over for me'.

As reported by Times of India, the political leader stated that he never threatened Kangana Ranaut and he only expressed displeasure over her statement comparing Mumbai to PoK. He even stated that Kangana is welcome to live in Mumbai and that he has nothing to do with BMC's decision to demolish her office. He was quoted saying, "I have never threatened #KanganaRanaut. I only expressed my anger at #Mumbai being likened to POK. I am not responsible for what action #BMC takes. Matter is over for me, Kangana is welcome to live in Mumbai."

Currently, the Bombay High Court has passed an order to put the demolition work by BMC on hold. Calling it a #DeathOfDemocracy, Kangana shared many videos on social media showing the wrecked parts of her office after the BMC officials tried to demolish it.
