Shilpa Shetty appears to be following in the footsteps of her husband, businessman Raj Kundra. The actress was seen sporting an LED face mask, while out and about in Mumbai on Saturday. Raj has been hiding his face in public with masks and he also wore a similar-looking black face mask. The two posed for the paparazzi, but with their faces hidden.
In a clip shared by a paparazzi, Raj can be seen opening the door for Shilpa and helping her to step out of their car as they entered a restaurant. The couple approach the restaurant while they walk hand-in-hand.
Apart from the masks, Shilpa and Raj also wore matching all-black outfits. While Shilpa opted for a jumpsuit, Raj wore a black sweatshirt and pants. While the photographers surrounded them, the actor began opposing and Raj joined her as well.
While they were about to enter the eatery, Shilpa briefly lifted her face mask for the media. This was the first time Shilpa covered her face with a face mask.
Reacting to the video, netizens stormed the comments section and trolled the couple for the unusual antics. One user wrote, “Ye bhi apne husband jesi ho gayi (she has become like her husband).” “SPD emergency,” one user wrote while dubbing them as the popular superhero cartoon Power Rangers.
From the looks of it, Shilpa’s new look can be a part of promotions for Raj Kundra's upcoming film, UT 69, which talks about Raj's jail time.
Raj was arrested in an alleged pornography-related case in 2021 for which he was sent to Mumbai's Arthur Road Jail. It was one of the biggest controversies of the year.
