The Mumbai police has said it would not serve any summon to actor Shilpa Shetty in connection with the pornography production racket for which her husband Raj Kundra has been arrested. A source has revealed to ETimes that Shilpa will not be served a summon in the case as was being speculated in the last few days.

According to a report in ETimes, "Shilpa Shetty is one of the directors of Viaan Industries while the police investigation is probing into Kenrin only."

The actress is making a comeback to the silver screen with Priyadarshan's Hungama 2, slated to be released today (July 23). Producers Ratan Jain had earlier clarified that the ongoing chaos would not affect the release of the movie. Apart from Shilpa, the movie is also headlined by Paresh Rawal, Meezaan Jafri, and Pranitha Subhash.

Shilpa Shetty Kundra is also seen as one of the judges on the dance reality show Super Dancer Chapter 4. She was supposed to shoot for the show on July 20. The actress, however, skipped the shoot. No one filled in for the actress; though, Karisma Kapoor shot for the show only as a special guest.

Raj Kundra was arrested on Monday for production of pornographic films. Multiple reports say he allegedly sold his app ‘Hotshots’ to the UK-based company Kenrin Pvt Ltd owned by his brother-in-law Pradeep Bakshi. He, however, controlled activities from Mumbai via WhatsApp. Kundra, on his part, said that he sold ‘Hotshots’ for $25,000 in 2019.
