Filmmaker Shekhar Kapur has found a perfect child artist if a sequel to 1983 film Masoom has to be shot in current times. Disclaimer though there are no such plans of the filmmaker, this thought came to his mind as he came across a family picture of actor Jugal Hansraj with his wife Jasmine and son Sidak. This adorable picture of the actor’s son made Shekhar recall of the times when he had to convince young Jugal to act in his film Masoom years ago.
Sharing this picture on his Instagram account, Shekhar was gushing over the actor’s son for his cuteness and innocence. Praising this picture perfect family he mentioned of them residing in New York and Shekhar in no mood for a sequel to the said movie. In his post he further mentions how he had to convince the actor to star in his movie. Right after Shekhar spotted him in an ad commercial, he took him to movie sets, to recording studios to make him believe that filmmaking is an entertaining process.
An excerpt from his Instagram post’s reads, “Jugal, i don’t know if you remember what a run around you gave me to do the part. I saw you in the Amul Dada commercial, and it took me months to convince you to act in the movie. I would have to take you to the recordings of the songs, take you to sets on studios, to convince you to that film making can be really interesting exciting and fun ! Do you remember ?”
In the picture shared by the filmmaker this lovely family was seen twinning in white. Jugal after starring in Bollywood films, penning few of it and also directing, moved his base to New York, after he tied the knot with Jasmine Dhillon, an investment banker.
