Actress Shehnaaz Gill enjoys a huge fan base because of her down-to-earth nature and bubbly personality. Having become a household name due to her stint in Bigg Boss season 13, she is currently establishing herself as a credible actress in Bollywood. As she is all set to share the screen space with actress Bhumi Pednekar in the upcoming movie Thank You For Coming, the actress recently opened up on whether she was treated equally on the set during the shoot of the film.
During her recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, Shahnaaz shared how she never felt she was treated differently from Bhumi just because she was the side character. She explained how she thought that even in Bollywood there would be a discrimination between the big stars and the small stars, however there was nothing as such. She went on to explain how the production house plays a very important role in how the actors are treated on the sets. Quoted by Bollywood Shaadis, crediting the producers for the same, the 30-year-old actress said, “Production ka bhi bohot bara role hai. Inhone ek percent bhi aisa feeling nahi di ki ye ladki main lead hai, tum characters ho side ke. Bilkul na. Puri vanity me bhi acha tha… ussi time bulate they jab shot hota tha, yeh bohot important cheez hai. Har cheez me equally treat kia, mai kya hi bolu ab?” ALSO READ: WHAT! The Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan actress went on to share how people are of the perception that there are no good people in Bollywood. Dismissing the fact, she expressed how it’s not necessarily true. She went on to add how she has come across good people as well and that it depends on who these people are.
On the work front, Shehnaaz Gill will be next seen in Thank You For Coming, co-starring Bhumi Pednekar, Kusha Kapila, Dolly Singh and Shibani Bedi. Apart from making her Bollywood projects, she has been making the headlines for her chat show Desi Vibes With Shehnaaz where she is seen talking to celebrities about their upcoming projects.
