Veteran Bollywood actor Shatrughan Sinha spoke at length about groupism and nepotism in Bollywood during his conversation with RepublicTV. The veteran who praised Kangana Ranaut for fiercely talking about this issue in the industry, also mentioned actor Govinda being a victim to the same vicious activity in the industry. In his conversation with Arnab Goswami, editor-in-chief of Republic, he shared how the industry shunned him after he hit a low phase in his career.
Shatrughan Sinha praised the actor Govinda, who ruled the industry with his talent and learnt things on his own. Terming him to be a self-made star, who played a dual role in his life of being a student as well as teacher, the veteran actor couldn’t stop gushing about him. He said, “The way Govinda developed himself as an artist. He has taught himself and persevered in the industry.. The way he kept learning.. especially his dancing and his timings.. He became an institution in himself.. Actors from all over were inspired by him.. would mimic him and follow him...”
Adding further when the actor hit a low phase in his life, veteran actor added, “but when Govinda went through a tough phase in his life, then they started shunning him..”
