Having started his career with television, actor Sharad Kelkar has proved his mettle as a talented star in Bollywood. He left everyone impressed with his acting prowess in movies like Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela, Bhoomi and Laxmii. However, just like every outsider, Sharad also had his fair share of struggles that he recently shared in the latest episode of Maniesh Paul’s podcast. Sharad reflected back on his struggling days and recalled the time he was suffering from financial woes.
While talking to host Maniesh Paul, the Saat Phere: Saloni Ka Safar actor recalled a time when ‘had no bank balance’. He said that he had even maxed out his credit cards back then. “People consider the work and it may be good or bad. But nobody notices the struggle. You came from Delhi, right? I came from Gwalior. People think we both have Mercedes, we dress well and come with our hair groomed well. They don't know the backstory,” he was quoted saying.
Sharad added, “In my life, I was out of credit cards also. There has been a time like that as well. I had no bank balance. There were so many liabilities. I have to pay off a loan and my credit card has also run dry.”
Sharad Kelkar also divulged details on the other aspects of his life and made some candid confessions.
On the professional front, Maniesh Paul is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film 'Bhuj: The Pride of India', in which he plays Indian Army officer. The Abhishek Dudhaiya directorial also stars Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha and Nora Fatehi. The war drama is slated to release on August 13 on Disney+ Hotstar.
