By now we all know that Padmavati co-stars Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer
Singh are not the best of friends. As soon as Shahid joined the cast of the
period drama, director Sanjay Leela Bhansali found himself caught in multiple
ego-tussles involving his two leading men.
But things recently came to a head, with sources telling SpotboyE.com
that Shahid threatened to walk out of the project.

Buzz is, the trouble started when Ranveer demanded that Shahid be
omitted from the inaugural posters of the film.
As soon as Shahid came to know of this, he informed Bhansali that that
he would rather opt out of the film.
Bhansali was at his wit’s end when he received this news because the
Padmavati casting had been a long process and he has had enough trouble
cobbling together the whopping 150 crores to finance the film too.
The director then decided to call for an SOS meeting in a bid to save
his film. He called all three stars for a sit-down in a bid to end the
misunderstandings once-and-for-all.
Sources tell us that during the meeting, he promised Shahid that he will
not be short-changed. Once the trio of stars was on the same page, Bhansali
heaved a sigh of relief and concluded, "Let's start the film as soon as we
can."
