Shahid Kapoor's much delayed film Jersey has been finally wrapped up, the actor shared the news on his Twitter account. In his Tweet he thanked the government of Uttarakhand where he was shooting for the last leg of the film for their support, which allowed them to shoot the film in a safe atmosphere amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. Few days ago when many stars resumed the shoot of their respective projects, Shahid too had expressed being eager to get back to work.
The actor also complimented the beauty of this state, Shahid Kapoor’s tweet read, “It’s a wrap on this schedule of #Jersey. I would like to thank the Govt of Uttarakhand for supporting and putting in place efficient policies that enabled us to safely shoot and wrap the schedule of our film in the many beautiful locations of the state.” Also the actor was recently reported to have taken pay cuts for the film, as the ongoing pandemic affected the producers of the film.
The actor slashed his fees from Rs. 33 crore to Rs. 25 crore.
On the personal front, the actor remained quarantined with his wife Mira Rajput, daughter Misha Kapoor and son Zain Kapoor at his residence when the lockdown was imposed in the country.
