Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor has made a name for himself in the entertainment industry with his versatile performances and fashion statement. The actor is all set to return to the big screens alongside Kriti Sanon with their movie ‘Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya’. While fans are eagerly waiting to see him in theatres, it seems like Shahid is in talks for a historical film based on the life of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
As reported by Pinkvilla, the 42-year-old actor is currently in talks with filmmaker Amit Rai, who last directed OMG 2. The film will be based on the life of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, a subject the director has always been interested in. It is to be noted that there is no confirmation regarding the same. The entertainment portal stated that the filmmaker has impressed the producers with his vision and the story. According to the portal, where the talks about casting started, Shahid’s name came up without any second thoughts due to his versatility. The report states that he has even expressed his excitement for the project and has agreed to do it. The announcements for the same will be made once a top studio aligns with the film. On the work front, last seen in Farzi and Bloody Daddy, Shahid Kapoor is all set to return to the big screens with Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya. Co-starring Kriti Sanon, the movie will release on February 9, 2024. Written and directed by Amit Joshi and Aradhana Shah, the movie follows the journey of Aryan who falls in love with a humanoid robot Sifra.
