Shahid Kapoor’s brother Ishaan Khattar has proved his mettle when it comes to acting with his debut movie Beyond The Clouds and then later in Shashank Khaitan’s film Dhadak along with Janhvi Kapoor. While the actor has stepped out of Vishal Bhardwaj's adaptation of Salman Rushdie's Midnight's Children, he has now given a nod to Bharat director Ali Abbas Zafar’s debut production.
As per Mumbai Mirror, Ishaan Khatter has agreed to do his next film with Bharat director Ali Abbas Zafar. This will be the director’s maiden production and will be directed by one of his assistant directors. A source told the tabloid “Ishaan and Ali have been discussing the film for a while and things have now fallen into place. It’s a love-story and is expected to go on the floors by the year-end. Ali loves the script and believes it’s the ideal subject to turn producer. Being a writer himself, he has been involved throughout the scripting process”
The untitled film is based completely in Mumbai and will be shot in one straight schedule. "The team is currently scouting for a young A-lister opposite Ishaan. The cast will be locked in a fortnight," the source informed the paper.
Ishaan Khatter has recently signed two big flims and the filmmakers were going to announce his movies soon. Meanwhile, director Ali Abbas Zafar is currently on a break in his hometown in Dehradun. His last directorial Bharat, starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif managed to do quite well at the box office.
